about Lynne August

Lynne August is the founder and director of Health Equations.  She received her Medical Degree from Washington University School of Medicine in 1973.  She combined conventional and holistic medicines in private practice for ten years and, soon after,  founded Health Equations.  For almost thirty years, Lynne has been researching significant influences on health ... diet, soil, agriculture, food processing, environmental exposures, and "living" water.

The inspiration in Lynne's clinical practice and research comes largely from her association with Emanuel Revici, MD.  Dr. Revici was a world-renowned scientist and clinician. His original research in dualism, hierarchical organization, the diphasic lipidic defense and oncology underpins Lynne's Health Equations Blood Test Evaluation.

Lynne draws on her experience in medicine, chemistry, physics, lipid research and biologic farming.  She also draws on meditation, Ayurveda and Anthroposophy.  She is a parent, an avocational musician and photographer, and a farmer.  Her current research is the extraction from animal tissues of specific lipids (fats) that are beneficial to human health.
