A Chem Screen and standard CBC with differential are required for the Evaluation.
If you choose to order Lab Tests at your local or affiliated labs, please refer to our
Lab List:Required Lab Tests for the Health Equations Blood Test Evaluation. Many Clinicians arrange a custom profile that includes all the tests for the BTE resulting in a substantial cost savings for their patients.

If you prefer that your patients provide their own required lab tests, instruct them to:

1. Go to the website of DLS (Direct Laboratory Services): www.directlabs.com.

2. The #1 CWP includes the specific Chem Profile and CBC necessary for the Evaluation plus the T4, T3, and TSH.

3. Order the #1 Comprehensive Wellness Profile, pre-paid for $97.00.
In the process of ordering the #1 CWP, they will be asked to select a convenient, near-by DLS affiliated blood draw site.

4. Take the requisition which DLS will mail to them and go to the selected site to have their blood drawn.

NOTE: Please instruct your patients to have their blood drawn approximately four hours after a usual breakfast or lunch, NOT after an overnight fast.

Alternatively, you as a Clinician may set up an account with Direct Laboratory Services at www.directlabs.com. With an account you will be billed $72 for each
#1 Comprehensive Wellness Profile you order, for which you in turn will bill your patients. Once you have your patients� test results, enter them into the Health Equations database online and immediately print their Evaluations. If you do not currently have an account, please call 800-328-2818.
